A book which contains details of the 64 former pupils of the school who died in the Great war has recently been discovered.
The school also has a memorial.

The Scotsman of 28th June 1920 recorded that the memorial was a bronze tablet surrounded by alabaster and listed sixty four names.
The articles mention that the paperwork records fifty six puplis and four teachers.
